FESSH 2026 – European Congress of Hand Surgery
A particularly stimulating few days at the European Congress of Hand Surgery, held in Basel as part of FESSH 2026, bringing together specialists from across Europe around the latest advances in hand and wrist surgery.
Dr Chihab Taleb had the pleasure of contributing to this edition through the European Hand Surgery Examination as well as the congress's scientific programme.
He notably took part in moderating a round table dedicated to scaphoid pathology, its diagnosis and the different treatment strategies.
Beyond the quality of the scientific presentations, these meetings are valuable moments for exchange, reflection and collaboration between European colleagues, sharing a common goal of advancing the specialty.
Dr Taleb thanks all speakers, candidates, organisers and colleagues for the richness of the discussions throughout the congress.
He also congratulates Dr Zaf Naqui on his election as President of the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand for the next three years, and wishes him every success in this new role serving the European hand surgery community.
